Peter Dimoulas
Innovation Camp Creator and Director
I am a certified educator and administrator in the state of Connecticut with over 15 years of experience in teaching and administration at the elementary, high school, and college levels.
My longest serving positions were in New Haven where I taught science and also developed and ran several new classes and programs, summer programming for youths. I also served as an intern administrator for Quinnipiac STEM Magnet School. Most recently, I have been at Southern Connecticut State University for the last since January 2020, where I have been involved in development and implementation of several programs for students in New Haven Public Schools as well as here at Southern.
I obtained a BS in Biology from Northeastern University, MS in Zoology from the University of British Columbia, Teacher Certificate from the Connecticut’s Alternative Route for Certificate, and a 6th-year in Education Administration from UCONN.
I am a loving husband, and father of two wonderful children, including a son, who recently turned three and a daughter, who is five.
I am driven to ensuring that what we do in education is in keeping with what is needed in the real-world. I am passionate about my work with young adults and leading our educators so that each students and each camper receives our love and attention as well as a meaningful and enriching experience.
